My Review:
Anew, book one in the Archers of Avalon series, is a spectacular and stunning debut by Chelsea Fine.  This book is so wonderful!

Scarlet woke up stranded in a forest at fifteen.  Alone and abandoned, she could recollect absolutely no memories and could only grasp her name; her only sense of identity.  She struggles to adjust, but with the help of her best friend and guardian, she copes.  Scarlet meets a strange boy who reminds her of something familiar, but she can't quite place how she remembers him, but one thing's for sure: he knows the secrets of her past that she has been clawing at for years, and she will do anything to retain her memories and to find out who she really is.

The beginning of this book really grabs your attention because the plot-line is just so mysterious and intriguing.  The complete sense of hopelessness and desire (desire for her identity, that is) really shone through in the narration.
There is a love triangle, which I am not a big fan of, mostly because I hate seeing people become heartsick.  Scarlet's main love interest becomes more and more apparent the farther into the book you get.
I can't give too much away, but Scarlet's past is very interesting, and the story behind Scarlet and guy #1 and #2 is actually pretty sad.
Overall, I am giving Anew a 4/5 because I loved the plot-line, the love-sick characters, and all of the emotional complexities that Scarlet has to deal with.
